Valentine Ranch Lesson program consists of group and private lessons.  Our group
lesson instruct 4 or 5 riders for a 1-hour period.  The lesson hour seeks to establish a
strong connection between horse and rider to ensure the best possible combination,
whether results are seen in the show ring or a successful riding lesson.  Our private
lesson time is typically spent learning to specialize or perfect certain training skills.
Current Lesson Prices:
1 hour group - $40                                          1/2 hour private - $60
Semi-private (2 riders) - $60                        1 hour private - $80
Payment Policy:

You are required to take one group lesson per week.  Payment for the
month is due at the 1st lesson of the month. Payment is considered late at
the 2nd lesson and there will be a $25 late fee.  At the 3rd lesson student
will not be allowed to ride and must pay a $50 fee to be reinstated back
into the lesson program.
Cancellation Policy:

In order to be eligible for a makeup or credit, 24 hour cancellation must be given.  If
Valentine Ranch cancels your lesson, we will schedule a makeup as soon as possible.

A liability release must be signed by all riders 18 and over prior to riding. For
riders under 18 a parent or legal guardian must sign the liability release.

VR has lesson horses for beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.

About Our Lessons

Safety is our #1 Priority for both the horse and rider.
We do not over-mount our riders.
Falling off is NOT the norm for our students.
You are guaranteed a solid 45 minutes on your horse per group lesson
We match all riders with a suitable horse, both in lessons and at horse shows
